This whip style no ground plane roof mount antenna is tunable, meaning needs to be cut down to length of the center transmit frequency that you will be using. This is ideal for installations where there is not a ground place created by a metal roof. Use with an L Bracket or standard NMO on a non-metallic roof. Once tuned just mount to the vehicle using an NMO mount and away you go. The antenna includes a spring at the base to allow the antenna to flex when driving under low hanging branches.
